He was predeceased by: his mother Bethany Scribner (Hutchings); and his brothers, James and Charles Scribner. He is survived by: his father Gordon Scribner of Loma Linda, Calif.; his wife Kathryn Scribner of Berrien Center; his son Kenneth A. Scribner (Cornelia); his grandchildren, Sierra and Michael of Centerville, Ohio; his sister Jan Horn of Yucaipa, Calif.; and his stepdaughter Marlene Cottier (Richard) of Berrien Springs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
