He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Dedic; his brother James Dedic; and his sister-in-law Ann Dedic. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Philippi (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Michigan Migrant Ministry.
