He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Joseph and Mary Dziegelewski (Grzesiak); his brother Chester J. Dziegelewski (Betty); his brothers-in-law, John Derey and Kenny Gibbs; and his nephew David Dziegelewski.
He is survived by: his brother John Erickson (Nancy) of Lexington, Kentucky; and his nieces and nephews, Annette Harvey, Patricia Drake, Cheryl Hartley, John Derey, Joe Derey, Kathleen Benevides, Judith Powell, Brian Derey, Lonny Dziegelewski and Larry Dziegelewski. He is also survived by great grandnephews and grandnieces; and one great great grandniece and one great great grandnephew.
