She was predeceased by: her parents, Casmere Getka and Gertrude Getka; her husband Paul Mendenhall; her siblings, Victor Getka and Helen Perez; and her grandson Anthony Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Perez (Virginia), Don Perez (Kathleen), Gary Perez and Christine Murrell (Jon); her grandchildren, Robert, Scott, Kelly, Shelly, Keith, Andrew, Jon and Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Hannah, Sarah, Emma, Anthony, McKenzie, Alivia, Cameron, Annabelle, Braydon, Mackenzie, Cora, Harper, Henry and Eloisa.
Due to COVID-19, and in accordance with CDC recommendations and the Governor's Executive Orders, the funeral home is limited to 10 people in the visitation/service room at any given time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Angela Hospice who did a truly wonderful job caring for Gertie in the final stages of her life.
