It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Joseph Kopitz Sr. of Berkley, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his parents, Frank and Lucille. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Van Buren (Curt), Patricia Tollefson (Scott), Frank Jr. Kopitz (Amy) and Mark Kopitz (Lisa); his grandchildren, Amandra Van Buren, Breanna Van Buren, Chelsea Van Buren, Tyler Tollefson, Nolan Tollefson, Adam Kopitz (True), Maxwell Kopitz, Morgan Kopitz and Marisa Koitz; and his great grandchild Ever Kopitz.
Due to COVID-19, and in accordance with CDC recommendations and the Governor's Executive Orders, the funeral home is limited to 10 people in the visitation/service room at any given time.
