With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Mae Hamel (Bergland, Michigan), who passed away on October 24, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Einard Perttu and Georgianna Perttu; and her brother Herb Perttu. She is survived by: her husband Clayton "Butch" Hamel; her sons, Todd Hamel (Amy) and Tom Hamel (Tera); her stepson Bruce James (Elvira); her grandchildren, Austin Dishneau, Kevin Dishneau, Easton Hamel, Logan Hamel, Alexa Vallejo, Sage James and Katya James; her siblings, Bonita Johnson (Rudy) and Ray Perttu (Sue); and her sister-in-law Jeanne Perttu. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
