He is survived by: his wife Valerie Eckstein; his daughters, Jennie (Jow Spencer) of Owosso, Mandie (Ben Ross) of Grawn and Sharon (Nathan Richardson) of Lake Ann; his siblings, Daniel Thomas of Alabama, Doreen Purcell of Montrose, Lucy Thomas of Montrose, Susan Taylor (Don) of Montrose, Cecelia Brown of Montrose and Linda Ewel (Ryan) of Montrose; his siblings-in-law, Dianne Thomas of Davidson, Gail Hopper of Copemish, Lisa Habedank (Scott) of Interlochen and Jay Eckstein (Kim) of Buckley; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Penick (Roger) of Interlochen, Phillip Eckstein of Walton, Karrie Leonard (Aaron) of Dearborn Heights, Albert Olah (Jodi) of Grand Blanc, Steven, Christy Taylor of Grand Blanc, Sandy, Damen Cole of Davison, Kylie Gray (Scott) of Traverse City, Sherri Hucks (Ron) of North Carolina, Mary Herington (Mike) of Clio, Shawn McGrandy (Jay) of Montrose, Robert, Stacy Brown of Saginaw, David, Cristi Youmans of Interlochen, Joseph Thomas of Alabama, Tammy, Matt Rhodes of Clio, Andy, Stephanie Olah of Montrose, Joshua, Kaylin Eckstein of Wisconsin, Tony and Sarah Thomas of Indiana.
