William DeFrance Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William DeFrance in Benton Harbor, Michigan, born in Coahoma, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Mae DeFrance (Daniels) and Joseph DeFrance, Sr.; his son Tony DeFrance; and his brother Charles DeFrance (Essie). He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Rosario (Benny) of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Joseph DeFrance (Diane) of St. Joseph, MI, Rev. Robert DeFrance, Sr. (Joyce) of Benton Harbor, MI, John DeFrance (Tracy) of Lithonia, GA, Michael DeFrance of Chicago, IL, JoEvelyn Sams (DeFrance) of Benton Harbor, MI and Jeannette Wills of Lithonia, GA.; and his close friend Rosemary Fulton of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (171 N Euclid Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
