He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Mae DeFrance (Daniels) and Joseph DeFrance, Sr.; his son Tony DeFrance; and his brother Charles DeFrance (Essie). He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Rosario (Benny) of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Joseph DeFrance (Diane) of St. Joseph, MI, Rev. Robert DeFrance, Sr. (Joyce) of Benton Harbor, MI, John DeFrance (Tracy) of Lithonia, GA, Michael DeFrance of Chicago, IL, JoEvelyn Sams (DeFrance) of Benton Harbor, MI and Jeannette Wills of Lithonia, GA.; and his close friend Rosemary Fulton of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
