She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Thomas and Esdell "John" Thomas; her husband Truman; her stepfather Earnest Hicks; and her siblings, Stanley Hicks and Tina Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Tyler (Gloria) and Kelley Schmalfeldt (Marvin); her stepchildren, David, Timothy Piner and Vicki Tucker; her sisters, Glenda Barkley (WC) and Ruth Tyler; her grandson Bradley Molhoek (Kandice); and her great grandchild William.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caring Circle Hospice, Hidden Acres Safe Haven for Cats, or the family will forward any donations they receive.
