She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson and Claire Nadine Jackson (Elbel); her brothers, Robert Jackson, James Jackson and Ronald Jackson; and her half-sister Jeannie.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Thar of Benton Harbor and Robert Sturgeon (Barb Lee) of Berrien Springs; her grandchildren, Chris Thar (Shelby Caprez), Emily Thar (Greg Hammond) and Devin Sanders; her great grandchildren, Rylee, Owen, Landon, Annalee and Romi; and her sister Judy Jackson (Richard "Rick" Jackson).
