She is survived by: her close friend Edward Johnson; her sons, Johnnie (Kim Isom), Gregory De-Wayne (Seanetta) and Corey (Janet Joseph); her adoptive daughter Fanchon Carter; her siblings, Gloria Jean Matthews of Benton Harbor, Rev. Betty Lott of Ohio and Willie C. Matthews of Germany; her uncle Mitchell Rogers of Benton Harbor; and her goddaughter Ivy Sewell. She is also survived by niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
