He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Oberholtzer and Wanda Oberholtzer; his father-in-law Reverend Milton P. McAfee; his brother Steve Oberholtzer; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Oberholtzer, Kelvin Cornelis (Doris Jean Cornelius) and Lenon "Buck" McAfee (Gwendolyn).
He is survived by: his brother Chris; his uncle Skip (Minister Skip); his aunt Marie; his wife Marie; his daughters, Cortney Oberholtzer of Washington State and Mercedes Oberholtzer of Benton Harbor, MI; his grandchildren, Hendrix Felix and Hayden (Chris Oberholtzer); his mother-in-law Pearlie Cole McAfee; his siblings-in-law, Alzeni Crumble, Jackie Hart (Clarenc), Vera Holmes of Benton Harbor, MI, Jannie Kiser of Eau Claire, MI., Donald C and Steve McAfee of Eau Claire, MI.; his stepparents, Trudy Oberholtzer of Corpus Christi, TX and Clifton Hill; his sister-in-law Stephanie Oberholtzer of Galveston, TX.; his adoptive daughters, Nakita Mitchell (Lawrence) of Sodus, MI. and Kayla Ruiz (Issac) of Eau Claire, MI.; and also Paul. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 121 Kline St, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Shanghai Memorial Cemetery (4391 S Park Rd, Eau Claire, MI 49111).
