She was predeceased by: her husband Joel Cook; her father O. C. Isom, Sr.; her siblings, Joe Isom and Pearl Isom-Johnson of Benton Harbor; her brother-in-law Harold Johnson; and her grandparents, Boise Bowman, Sr., John and Ida Isom.
She is survived by: her mother Lillie Mae Isom; her siblings, Bridgette Robinson (Mo) of Niles, Kim of Benton Harbor, Yolanda Isom of Benton Harbor, Bishop O. C. Isom, Jr. of Benton Harbor and Commissioner Edward Isom (Yvonne) of Benton Harbor; her aunts, Bessie Isome of Flint and Teresa Bowman of Indianapolis; and her nephew Raynell. She is also survived by 15 nieces/nephews, 38 great nieces/nephews, and 25 great great nieces.
Cookie was very active in several outreach programs at Word Up Ministries such as the Cancer Foundation, Blanket Outreach for the Homeless, Wellness Coordinator, and many more.
