He was predeceased by: his parents, Tim Massey and Evelyn Massey (Sellers); and his wife Rosa Grey Hildreth. He is survived by: his children, Leroy (Shelia), Daniels of Birmingham, AL, Rodney (Helen), Leon Massey Jr. (Cindy), Alfonso (Jean), Pollard of Birmingham, AL, Vernessia (James), Callahan of Atlanta, GA, Brenda (Ricky), Clark of Niles, MI, Glenda Massey of Benton Harbor, MI and Leontis (Donna); his goddaughter Lois Clay of Benton Harbor, MI; and his caregivers, Alicia, Amy, Anne, Charmaine and Visitor (Tim Oleary). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
