She was predeceased by: her father Eli Shannon; and her grandparents, Paul Pegues Sr., Jesse, Robert Shannon and Frances Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Shannon (Karissa) and Pearlie Rochelle Jackson; her granddaughter Syn'Cerity Higgs; her sister Marian Tripplett (Reinaldo); her nieces, Alexandra Foster (Steven) and Kiara Moore; her nephew Eli Shannon; her great-nephew Steven Foster II (SJ); and her friend Ruckers. She is also survived by parents and grandparents.
