He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolie Hardnett and Lucy Cohn Hardnett. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce, Debra Ann Lloyd (Michael), Ruth Ann, Nolie Hardnett Jr. (Rose), Dennis Derand Hardnett Sr., Terrol Wayne Hardnett (Leneise), Lavell Hardnett, Kenneth Ray Hardnett, Bennie Jean Hooper and Tina Marie Thrower; his nephew Amos Croom III; and his close friend Yvonne "Guma" Wigfall. He is also survived by 5 children. 4 daughters and 1 son.
