She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pierce, Sr. and Florence Pierce, Sr. (Cooper); and her siblings, James Williams, Clinton Pierce, Brenda Pierce and Donna Dancer.
She is survived by: her children, Shamettha Pierce of Benton Harbor, Chivanza Pierce of Benton Harbor, Willie Mae Jones of Benton Harbor and Amos Pierce (Nitika) of Arizona; her close friend James T. Mosley, Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Pierce, Jr., Lily Ferguson (Willie) of Benton Harbor, MI and Betty Phillips of Benton Harbor, MI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
