He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shelby and Annie Shelby (Wolfe); his wife Betty Jean Grant; and his great grandchild Christian Zamora. He is survived by: his children, Jim Shelby, Alvin Cowgill (Michelle), Allen Cowgill (Dawn), April White and Anne Turbyfill (Dan); his great grandchildren, Victoria Woerdehoff (Will), Michelle Bowling (Kenneth), Adrianna Torres (Heladio), Nithaniel Ramirez, Carmen Segundo and James Lewis; and his brother Carl Shelby.
