He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James, Sr. Wheeler and Golden May Wheeler; his daughters, Melissa Walter (John) of Coloma, Audrey Blair (Reggie) of South Haven and Andrea Wheeler of St. Joseph; his sister Joyce Skidmore of Benton Harbor; his grandchildren, Arin (James), Zachary (Alyssa), Anne (Adam), Nikki (Mitch), Jami (Mark), Jenna (Jacoby) and Kayla; and his niece Anita Skidmore.
