He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne and Nate; his wife Kathy; his former wife Norma; his brother Frank; his grandson Sam Melton; and his niece Susan Crowe.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Melton (Deb), Sheryl Moerdyk and Todd Melton (Noelle); his granddaughter Emma Melton (Segun); his children, David Moerdyk, Ellie Wood (Kyle), Payton, Lauren, Wyatt, Ian and Ember Melton; his great grandchild Annie Wood; and his friends, Kathy, Jim and MaryAnn Lulenski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel-An Evangelical Free Church - St. Joseph (4250 Washington Ave, St Joseph, MI 49085).
