It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hobart Gene McLaughlin of Benton Harbor, Michigan, born in Tuckerman, Arkansas, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge McLaughlin and Ruth McLaughlin (Mitchell); his wife Betty Anderson; his son Roger McLaughlin; his brother Paul McLaughlin; and his children-in-law, Darlene McLaughlin and Michael Renhack.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Renhack of Eau Claire, Hobart "Gene" McLaughlin, Jr. of Eau Claire, Phillip McLaughlin of Benton Harbor and Tracey McLaughlin of Akin, SC; and his grandchildren, Roland, Samantha (Chris), Joseph (Carrie), Jimmy, Amanda (Ben), Rachel (Havian) and Toni. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
