He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Willie Robinson; his former wife Maddie Robinson; his mother Lena Robinson; his brothers, Willie Jr., Leroy and Charles; his nephew Sam Brown; his parents-in-law, David Jennings and Lillie Jennings; and his brother-in-law Gregory Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Lady Joanne Robinson; his children, George Erin, Ricqyua Williams (Charles) and Rhoshunda Lyles; his grandchildren, Nikkol Bennett, Tamari Townsend, Deshanti Townsend, Markeely Hunter, Cerillio Fuller, Rashad Fuller and Tresvon Williams; his great grandchildren, Xairien Bennett and Xariah Bennett; his siblings, Rosetta Robinson and Rev. Richard Robinson (Shalette); his aunts and uncles, Rev. Gaither Robinson, Rev. Daniel Gladney, Erma Lee Johnson and Bulah Bulter; his siblings-in-law, Denise Fisher (Artie), Jan Jennings, Joyce Norfleet, Jeffery Jennings, Anthony Jennings, David Jennings, Ricky Jennings and Cornelius Jennings (Sherly); his goddaughters, Tonya Bailey and Keshia Davis; his godmother Ethel Pearl Rodger; and also Rev. Thomas Fields (Kenya). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (600 Donald Adkins Dr, Benton Harbor, MI 49022).
