With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ethan James Stringer of Benton Harbor, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his parents, April Reitz and Jim Stringer; his stepmother Princella Stringer; his stepbrother Anthony Tames; his sister Emily Stringer; his stepsiblings, Mitri Cortez and Elvie Cortez; his grandmother Debra Leider Burkett; his stepgrandfather Glen Burkett; his grandparents, Mike Reitz, James and Alicia Stringer; and his stepgrandparents, Rosane Robert (Weta), Tom Robert and Jackie Nunez. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (555 E Delaware Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022).
