She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Shasteen and Lula Shasteen; her daughter Lisa Franklin; her son-in-law Steve Franklin; her grandson Kyle; and her pet Minnie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Stroup (David) of Dowagiac and Shannon Garey (Michael) of Benton Harbor. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
