She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Cady and Alice Cady; her husband Jack E. Spaans Sr.; and her siblings, Marvin Cady, Norma Randall and Bonnie VanDyke.

She is survived by: her children, Jack, Leslie, Dean and Todd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or Alzheimer's Foundation.
