She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ford and Helen Ford (Huver); her brothers, Ronald Ford and Charles Ford; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Florence Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Nelson; her children, Darci Mierendorf (Dan), Jay Nelson (Sherri) and Kevin Nelson (Heather); and her grandchildren, Evan Mierendorf (Grace), Aron Mierendorf, Zoey Mierendorf, Jordan Nelson (Blake Yant), McKenna Nelson and Miranda VanderVeen (Joe Phillips). She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews and close friends.
