He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma McClain (Hartwig) and Harold A. McClain; and his siblings, Elton McClain, Howard McClain and Janet McClain.
He is survived by: his wife Janet McClain; his son Richard McClain (Jill); his grandchildren, Jeff Normile (Chris), Amber Cain (Josiah), Kyle McClain (Jamie) and Mackenzie McClain; his son Mark McClain (Nicki); his grandchildren, Jordan McClain, Matt McClain and Sean McClain; his daughter Sheri Church (Tom); his grandchildren, Melinda Browne (Sean), Ashley Church-Munguia (Casey) and Rachel Church; his great grandchildren, Ezra, Dilan, Ayla, Tessa and Levi; and his brother Ken McClain.
