He is survived by: his children, Melissa Ver Strate, Maria Sweeney, Jenni Ver Strate, Timothy Ver Strate (Natasha), Beth Ver Strate and Becca Levy; his grandchildren, Ethan (Hannah), Jordan S., Luke, Emma, Jake, Tristan, Adrian, Freya, Aria, Jordan T. and Aleia; his great grandchildren, Amara, Cain and Milo; his siblings, Gary Ver Strate, Harold "Butch" Ver Strate (Cheryl), Debby Snyder (Arnold), Carolyn Kirves (Greg), Robin Adema (John), Jonni VandenBerg (Jeff) and Laura Ferguson (Matt); and his stepsister Emma Kinney (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
