He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia (Ginny); his brother Jon; his brother-in-law Denny Couturier; and his parents-in-law, Rosemary and Fred Braun.

He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Adam Fasel (Lesley), Tobin Fasel (Taresa), Dillon Fasel, Cameron Fasel and Shane Fasel (Nicole); his father Al Fasel; his siblings, Ann Couturier, Steve Fasel (Mary), Paul Fasel and Scott Fasel (Cari); and his sister-in-law Rita Fasel. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
