He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathleen Holton (Cathy); his daughters, Jennie Howell (Tom) and Melissa Jevons (Aaron); his grandchildren, Aubrie Noonan and Toren Jevons; his stepsons, Andy Holt, Kevin Holt and Lon; his siblings, Stan and Carol; his parents, Russell D. Holton and Bertha Holton (Miller); his sister-in-law Rose Smith; his half-siblings, Berniece Denslow (Alden) and Max Holton; his nieces and nephews, Randy Holton (Mary), Todd Holton (Tammie), Tammy Halfmann (Dave), Becky Holton, Kevin Gantz, Daren Gantz (Hildy), Ken Denslow (Pat), Sandy Lindquist (John), Jim Denslow (Wanda) and Rick Denslow; his uncle Millard Holton (Phyllis); his mother-in-law Milly Sundell; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Easterday (Bill), Colleen Truesdell (Bob) and Carole Rajan. He was also cherished by his many nieces- and nephews-in-law and their children.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gratiot County Community Foundation, as the family will be starting the Lonnie R. Holton Scholarship Fund in his memory to be awarded yearly to a graduating Alma High School student-athlete.
