She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her parents, Croften Meek and Marcia Meek; her siblings, Gwen Dufort, Chuck Meek and Jerry Meek; and her aunt Alixe Barney.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Beckett, Bruce Beckett, Bernie Beckett (Marilyn), Bryce Beckett (Susan), Bonnie Van Dyke and Beverly Whyard (Bruce); her brother George Meek (Kay); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Meek and Fran Beckett. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in honor of Gertrude may be made to Susan B. Komen or American Heart Association.
