He was predeceased by: his parents, William Southern and Vivian Southern. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen; his daughters, Cindy Boehmer, Jackie VanDenBerg and Brenda Southern; his grandchildren, Richard Boehmer (Kelly), Jesse Boehmer (LeeAnn), Elizabeth Dumont (Daniel), Leanne Rahn (Austin), Ashley VanDenBerg and Amber VanDenBerg; and his stepgranddaughter Michelle Harley (Rob). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
