Robert left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dixon and Henrietta Dixon (Inwood); his former wife Frances Dixon; and his half-brother Charles Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Ione Kosbab-Dixon; his children, Marie Dixon, David Dixon (Joy), Carol McGavin (Doug), Charles Dixon, Elizabeth Ritchie (Rick) and Andrew Dixon (Sabrina); his stepdaughters, Carol Ritchie and Anne Dixon; and his sister-in-law Kris Meyer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (16 E Van Buren St, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or to the Barbershop Harmony Foundation.
