He was predeceased by: his parents, Demress Treat and Elizabeth Treat (Collins); his children, Mark Treat, Christine Bolz and Kenneth Treat (Donna); and his sister Beverly Irelan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "His Chickadee" (Wagner); his son Richard Treat (Louise); and his sister Ellen Deverman (David). He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
