He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Higgins and Doris Higgins (Everett). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Burkart; his children, Scot Higgins (Sarah) of Bellevue and Jennifer Dingman (Dennis) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, James Angus (Shannon), Cole Madry (Sierra), Ryan Madry, Joseph Madry, Gabrielle Higgins and Everett Dingman; his great grandchild Sawyer Angus; and his sister Barbara Chase (Don).

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Bellevue Fire Department or the Baseline 4-H Club-Bellevue.
