He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jones and Claudie Jones (Robertson); his wife Rubbie Nell Jones; and his daughter Teresa Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Claudia Guzman (Jeno) of Bellevue and Lyndon Jones of Battle Creek, Michigan; and his siblings, Vivian L. McBride of Jesup, Emma L. Gleckler of Brunswick, Marica A. Knowles of Jesup, William D. Jones of Brunswick, David H. Jones of Brentwood, James O. Jones (Barbara) of Odom and Ivey V. Jones (Marlee) of Screven, Georgia.. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
