He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Day (Hughes) and Lisle Day; his wife Beverly Ann Day (Orns); his son Donald "Donnie" James Day Jr.; and his siblings, Clarence, Darlene, Diane and Gwen.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Day (Tina), Penney Bush (Eric), Randy Day, Pamela Day, Jill Parsons (Jerry), Jack Day and Michelle Thompson (Kevin). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
