He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Abbott and Mary Abbott; and his siblings, Margaret Hardy, Edward Abbott, Frank Abbott, Mary Volk, Richard Abbott, Doris Stuedemann, Joan Furlo and Michael Abbott.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Abbott; his children, David Abbott (Annette) of Bellaire and Marilyn Neuenfeldt (Todd Combs) of Thomas Township; his grandsons, Nicholas Neuenfeldt and Nathan Neuenfeldt; and his brother Anthony Abbott (Mary Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
