He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Drake and Blanch Drake (Peter). He is survived by: his wife Pat Drake; his sons, David Drake of Weston, OH and Michael Drake (Jill) of Geneva, IL; his brother Marvin Drake (Ellie) of Boxborough, MA; his grandchildren, Heidilyn, Derek, Zachary (Tiffany), Samuel, Natalie and Vivian; and his great grandchildren, Cadence, Lilah and Duane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
