He was predeceased by: his parents, George Platz and Loimarion Platz (Parrish); his daughter Deb; his son-in-law Michael Nummer; and his siblings, Bob, Earl, Max, Howard, Marion Eash, Charlene Cattrell and Goldie DeShane.
He is survived by: his wife Kae; his children, Timothy Platz II (Dianna), Jerome Platz, April Nummer and James Pennock Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Nummer II, Justin Nummer, Rebecka Pennock and Nicholas Pennock; his great grandchild Mason; and his sisters, Diana Peterson, Arlene Cowles, Jean Burton and Linda Burton.
