It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Lynn Young (Belding, Michigan), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Lynn Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy (Byrne); and her siblings, Sandra Treynor and Matthew McCarthy. She is survived by: her husband David Young; her stepsons, James Young and Thomas Young (Jennifer); her granddaughter Lindsay Kallbrier; her sister Sharon Plumb; and her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Deters (Michael), Mikayla Treynor, Jesse Plumb (Laura Muniz) and Jason Plumb (Ferris). She is also survived by five great nephews, three great nieces, along with many other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home (203 Pleasant St, Belding, MI 48809).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Susan may be directed to the Grattan Historical Society.
