She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Hale and Virgie Hale (Wireman); her husband Charles Greenway of Greenville; her siblings, Farrell Hale, Michael Hale, Deborah Miller, Nicholas Hale and Velerie Jean Hale; and her nephews, Kenneth Clayton, Dale Clayton and Kevin Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Hale (Sandra) of Orleans, Virgie Jones (Paul) of Tustin, Charles VanderMel of Lakeview, Candice Heath (Terry) of Belding, Penelope Greenway of Belding, Shana Greenway of Ionia and Gabrielle Greenway of Portland; and her siblings, Mildred Yoder, Earlie Mae Wiggins, Frieda Zambrano (Tony), Sharon Watkins (E. J.), Barbara Martin (Richard), Paul Hale, Mary Kelley (Larry), Norman Hale Jr., Teddy Hale (Crystal), Norma Dawson (Paul) and Hope Hale. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
