He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lyons and Elizabeth Lyons (McCormick); and his siblings, Merry Kate, John, Lawrence and Frances.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Robert Morris (Cindy) of Ionia, Teresa Stauffer (Todd) of Lansing, Jolene Lyons of Grand Rapids and Frank Lyons of Belding; and his sisters, Rose Wireman, Marie Wireman and Marian Nathan. He is also survived by several grandchildren, one great grandchild.

Memorials may be given to the family.
