With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Huffman of Belding, Michigan, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Guenther and Margaret Elizabeth Guenther (Cattell); and her husband Nicholas Huffman. She is survived by: her children, Barry Huffman of Holland and Jenna Huffman of Belding; her grandchildren, Jerry Phillips and Orian Phillips; her cousin Cindy Conomy; and her brothers-in-law, Dr. Craig Huffman (Linda) of St. Louis and Carter Huffman (Nancy) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Those wishing to express their sympathy are encouraged to consider a contribution in Rita's memory to the Alvah N. Belding Library, Cat Trap Fever of Michigan, cat rescue, Belding United Methodist Church or the R.A.V.E. women's shelter.
