He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lewis and Bonnie Lillian Harkrader (Painter); his daughter Victoria Wheeler; his siblings, Glaidith Pearl Carpenter, Leonard Harkrader, Charles Harkrader, Henry Harkrader and Don Butler; and his brother-in-law Clint Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Angela Mosley (Franklin); his children, Walter Ray Harkrader, David Roger Harkrader, Medina White, Shannon Harkrader-Crooks and Bill Crooks; his son-in-law John Wheeler; his stepchildren, Alfreda, Donald, Karen, Debbie, Craig Campbell of Stanton, Carol, James Withers, Judy Burkett, John, Angie Mosley, David, Brenda Mosley and Robert Mosley; his sister Alice; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd Franklin, Robert "Bob" Franklin, William "Bill", Gloria Franklin, Dale, Darlene Franklin, Jerry Franklin and Delbert Morales. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
