She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer J. Scarbery and Nancy E. Scarbery (Davis); and her siblings, Pearl, Lucille, Melvin, Ivan, Kelson, Earl, George and Paul.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Spears Jr.; and her children, Linda Krause (Bill) of Greenville, Ellen Kellogg of Colorado Springs, CO, Louise Spears of Big Rapids, Gary Spears (Liz) of Grand Rapids, Paula Volkers (Mike) of Zeeland, Clara Hippensteel (Dave) of Howard City and Gloria Dallas of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Ashley Baptist Church.
