She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Peterson (Pete) and Wilhelmina Peterson (Mast); her brother Gary Peterson; her grandsons, James Miller, Fredric Miller and Daniel Moran; and her pet Emma.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Moran; her children, Cynthia Miller of Belding and Sam Miller (Kristi) of Alto; and her grandchildren, Jessica Krum (Gabe) of Stanton, Sara Heminger of Alaska, Matthew Heminger of Alaska, Samantha Tran (Brad) of Greenville, Lisa Miller (Adam Thompson) of Belding and Tara Kraai (Chris) of Ionia. She is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alvah N. Belding Library, where Joan spent so many years helping kids.
