He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hansel and Irene Sikes (Turner); and his siblings, George, Lemual, Joseph, David, John, Marguerite and James.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Sikes, Ruby Wilson (Don), Huey Sikes, Jr. (Sylvia), Mary Rivera, Chris Sikes (Terri), Corey Sikes (Katie) and Casey Sikes (Jackie); and his sister Martha Henning (John). He is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
