She was predeceased by: her parents, George Austin "Doc" and Marie M. Godfrey (Hall); her daughter Elisabeth "Betsi" Riva; her granddaughter Sarah Marie Gregory; her brother Ronald L. Godfrey; and her sister-in-law Linda Godfrey.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Richard Cowles; her daughter Cynthia Marie Stewart of Belding; her grandson Christopher Stewart of Belding; and her brothers, Dick (Nora Godfrey) of Greenville and Gilbert Godfrey of Greenville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, Glenna would have appreciated contributions in her memory to The Humane Society.
