He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Mary (Brandt) and Glenn Elgin Vogel, Sr.; his son Randy Vogel; and his siblings, Ida Canfield and Leroy Vogel.
He is survived by: his wife Judith M. Vogel; his children, Cindy L. Merren of Greenville, Ronald A. Vogel of Wyoming and Daniel J. Vogel of Ellsworth; his sisters, Francis Fien of Grand Rapids, Josephine Hamilton of Grand Rapids and Suzan Roosevelt (Ronald) of Grand Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Wierenga (Pauline) of Grand Rapids and Ellen Hudson of Grand Rapids.
